Golightly Education Center is an application school that provides scholarly educational opportunities for future leaders in our country. The benefits of receiving a solid academic foundation via our PreK through eighth program increases the likelihood that our students will graduate from high school and ultimately have a prosperous tomorrow. Today, our success model of competence education places us among the city's most prestigious schools within the Detroit. Our purpose is to form useful society leaders for our country. We are part of the Network of National Institutions and we are certified in quality education.
Our philosophy provides the school with unique qualities of which we are tremendously proud. We are dedicated to academic excellence and believe that it is our responsibility to provide every student with effective teaching and quality education. In addition, we also encourage respect for the individuality of each student and recognition of his or her talents, interests and potential. It is our goal to provide all of our students with high quality personal care.
At the present time, Golightly is actively recruiting and accepting scholars who demonstrate exemplary citizenship and academic achievement. Applicants are required to have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
